Feeling myself shut down from within,
Eyes close,
Mind open.
Dreams flow in, and out.
This isn’t something I’ve really thought about.
I miss the feeling of falling asleep without thinking,
Sometimes it feels like this ship is sinking,
And there’s nothing I can do to stop it,
But I promise I’ll try to save it from going down,
But this time, I don’t think I can save you,
I can barely save myself.
Maybe I just need to get out of this town.

Good song. I really like the flow to this, it sounds good, and the tone is beautifully sad. It's a bittersweet poem, beautiful words, sad meaning. Irony. (bittersweet being in the song name and all :D) It's not always your responsibility to save someone. Sometimes, you have to save yourself first. And hang in there. Love you :]
