At the store today, I bought 4 things. Each relates to random things in my life when I think about them.

Wooden beads:
I'm going to use them to make some bracelets to sell on City-wide Garage Sale Day. I did last year, but not at my house. I set up a stand at Gina's house. I only made about 7 dollars, but it was okay because with the money Danielle, Gina, and I went to Subway. I'd never been to subway before, but I instantly fell in love. It was a little weird spending the money i JUST made. It actually felt pretty good.

Vanilla candle:
I used to have them every day of summer. Whenever I ended up hanging out alone in my room, I'd have to have some. One day, I specifically remember my mom coming into my room to ask if I had been making cupcakes. It was SO delicious smelling! Yum. I'm even burning one right now.

Flip-flops:
It's still spring, but I got a pair already. They're pink, with a darker pink flower pattern on them. They remind me of the old pink pair I had. The first time I ever went to Nathan's house (his dads, that is) I left my pair out near his door. When his sister walked in the door, she yelled to us, from behind his closed door "STOP HAVING SEX!" We laughed and he said, "OH YEAH. Jenna's here!" She laughed in reply and told him she thought the pink flip-flops were actually his. That was also the day I met his Oma! She's so cute!

Make up:
I also got some compact powder. I really really really hate make up. The problem with it is, once you start wearing it, you can't NOT wear it. My face would look so natural and...red if I didn't wear make up. I'd feel so naked without it. It's my symbol of cover and distraction i guess. Not so much for the eye shadow and what not, that is more for an artsy look. I'm just talking the liquid concealer and powder. Haha, if it's obvious you're wearing make up, you're not wearing it the right way!

So shopping today was fun, but i wanna go shop for clothes, rather than just assorted odds and ends. Maybe I'll go thrifting with Molly sometime this week. Break has been pretty good so far.
