It's been too long.

Intensity builds.
Black sheep, come home.
Becoming greater, and greater,
Black sheep, come home
And greater, than it was before.
Black sheep, come home.
Black sheep, come home.
Until it’s too much for even me,
And the beat breaks down,
There’s a bass going crazy
With a simple drum pattern in the background
Quiet falls
And then just a simple thud with vocals.
“Hello again, friend of a friend… I knew you when”
Four hard strikes.
“our common goal was waiting for the world to end.”
Four hard strikes.
“Now that the truth is just a rule that you can bend.”
Four hard strikes.
“You crack the whip, shape shift, and trick the past again”
Then a light switch is flipped on,
And a change in tone.
“I’ll send you my love on a wire, lift you up every time, everyone”
Sing is slowly, smear it.
“pulls away”
Just let it slide.
“from you.”
Let it go,
You know it’s true,
Yes, even you.
Intensity returns,
And goes on until it is gained and lost once more.
“Got balls of steel, got an automobile for a minimum wage”
Flip on another switch,
I’m almost confused,
What does this one do?
“Got real estate, I’m buying it all up in outerspace.”
The chorus once more..
Change is miniscule.
Last verse.
Different,
And slightly out of place,
(But not working on this laptop.
Maybe I’ll finish this later.)
