I croon I love you but do you accept?
You must, you will know that I have confessed
But maybe things have changed, and for the best
I feel as though I have become obsessed.

Before I was afraid that you would leave
But now I do believe that you would not
Because I know that you believe in me
Our love will not ever be left to rot

There is nothing too big to cause a fuss
Not even anger, hate or jealousy
Whatever it is that comes between us
I know it can't last past the time it needs

For me there was a distraction one time
But time has passed, for today, you are mine.
