Be Happy

Happiness

-state of mind of feeling such as contentment, satisfaction, pleasure, or joy.

-state of well-being characterized by emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy

-being at peace with oneself and the world.

-a true joy that springs from the heart and does not depend upon the circumstances.

-the ability to continue smiling and handle whatever life throws at you.

It's easy to define happiness by what is NOT:

self doubt
depressed
hateful
fearful
worried
unsatisfied
bored
grief
shame
guilt
discontent
anxious
annoyed
angry
irritated
stressed
frustrated
upset
down
sad
envious
jealous
There are many people who have tried defining happiness:

"Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections"

"Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence."
"Be happy. It's one way of being wise."

"If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things."

"Happiness is not the absense of problems, but the ability to deal with them."

"It isn't what you have, or who you are, or where you are, or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about."
Just some things to think about.
