So a quick blog today before I retire to my bedroom. Well... I'm actually already in my bedroom. But I specifically meant to sleep. So let's start over. I shall write a quick blog tonight before I retire to my bed. Sleep is my only friend. Actually, that's a lie too. Megan's one of my great friends! Hah. Oh well. I should give up right? Because no matter what I say will always come out wrong.

So last Sunday, I joined Tamera in Church. Metro South that is. It's a great alternative type Church. There's music, lots of praying, and love spread all around. The services are humorous as well. Anyway, when i went they were in a series called Old School. It was going back through certain sections of the bible and stressing points. One was that God can give, and God can take. Now I use the word 'God' very loosely. Because for me, God is not some old guy chilling up in heaven. God is an abstract, incomprehsible being. God is EVERYWHERE. You cannot escape him/her/it. God is a woman, God is a child, God is a man, God is a rock, God is a bird, God is music, God is light, God is rain, God is... EVERYTHING. Get it? Alright good. I was surprised when my mom agreed with me on that many many many years ago. For some reason I had thought that my view was totally wrong compared to everyone else I'd talked to. Now anyway, as I was saying. God can give gifts to 'his' children, but he can also take them away, not as punishment, but as a learning experience. As with the story of Job, after all the mayhem in his life when his three friends set the record straight with him, it seems a lot is learned withing a few sentences you might read in the bible. I was intrigued by the way Pastor J really explains it. He MAKES you understand exactly what it is he's trying to emphasize. You really get a really good experience if you pay attention and think about yourself while all of this is going on. You will strive to be a strong and righteous disciple if you chose to be a good person at heart. But moral of the story, I am most def. not Christian. I cannot believe a man was sent to die on earth. God wouldn't do that. He/She/It would think things out more than that. And honestly, the great floods from Noah's arc....really did happen. Despite the common belief it was something God did, that's not necessarily true. Because if you think about it, many religions believed it happened for diff. reasons.

Anyway, Nathans calling. I'll write more later.
